Ship Navigation System
The team of Gerrit Braun is working on a fully automated ship navigation system since 2004. The civilized inland water navigation works on an autopilot for ships on inland waterways for more than 20 years, however, without resounding success thus far.
Nevertheless the team of Gerrit Braun is optimistic that soon 15-30 ships will automatically navigate on the northern Baltic Sea. For this purpose 48 satellites have already been installed above the water basin. If you want to know more about the planned ship navigation system, go to the section Technics and read the article Ship Naviation System.
