Souvenir Euro Bills
For the collectors among our visitors! For some years now, there are the 0-Euro souvenir bills, which can be purchased at many sights throughout Europe. The Wunderland also has its very own bills of this special currency.
They are printed in official printing plants for the Euro currency and show the following security features: watermark, copper strip, Simultouch, hologram, transparent register, printing plant security backdrop, fluorescent invisible ink and an individual serial number, unique to each bill.
There can be different motives to each issuing office. These identify through the first number following the year of issue. In practice this means, when the digit after the year changes, it is a new motif. Should the digit after the year stay the same it is the same motif but a new edition (changes within the general layout are allowed, e.g. a different shape of stars).
The serial number consists of 10 digits (4 letters and 8 numbers)

The motif on the backside of the bill has been changed in 2017 due to Brexit. Until then it showed Big Ben, now it depicts the Portuguese Torre de Belém. We also have been selling these bills since 2016 and want to provide you with an overview of the different issue bills.

Bill No. 25: Peace dove (Motif 2023)
This personalized bill shows a very popular display at the Miniatur Wunderland. It shows a herd of sheep passing through a fence gate to another pasture. From above, the horde of sheep forms the outline of a peace dove.

Bill No. 24: Fire at tax office & Michel (Motif 2023)
This personalized bill shows the famous fire department operation at the tax office in the exhibition of the Miniatur Wunderland. In the background you can see the world-famous church of St. Michaelis, which is called "Michel" by the people of Hamburg.

This personalized bill shows a beautifully designed collage of highlights that can be found at the Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg up until the year 2023.
