Inside the Wunderland

  • How much time is needed at minimum for visiting the exhibit?

On average, you need 3 hours to see the whole layout once, but of course, it depends: If you are the speedy type, you could make it in 5 minutes. Other visitors declare that a whole day is not enough to discover everything. If you want to take part in a guided tour, you should plan for an extra hour.

Generally speaking, we recommend about half a day for a visit. And if you should get hungry during your stay, we will take care of your needs.

  • Are dogs permitted?

Yes, dogs are permitted. On busy days, though, we recommend that you don't bring your dog, because it will neither be fun for the dog nor for you ;-)

Unfortunately you can not take your dog on a guided backstage tour.

  • Is it permitted to take pictures and videos?

Definitely YES! Taking pictures or videos for private purposes is not only permitted in Miniatur Wunderland, but highly desired. There are so many motives and perspectives that it is impossible for us to take pictures of everything. We are happy about every picture and video sent to us and encourage you to show them to your friends or share them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest etc. with our hashtag #miwula.

In addition, we offer a special service in the way of charging units where you can recharge your mobile phone, digital camera or camcorder. Charging devices and power sockets can be found on the 4th floor, next to the control center (please follow the signs "LEITSTAND"). You can also purchase batteries in our shop.

  • Does the price for a guided tour include the entrance fee?

No. A guided tour is a service on top of the general visit, so even if you book a guided tour, you still have to pay the entrance fee.

It's different for the special events: The tickets for our special events do include the entrance fee.

A delay of 15 minutes will be tolerated. If you arrive later than that, unfortunately your reservation expires.

  • I made a reservation but didn't receive a reservation confirmation by e-mail. Now what?

Reservation confirmations often are sorted out as junk mail, therefore, please first have a look into you spam folder. If it hasn't ended up there either, please send us an e-mail and we will check on the reservation. Together, we'll find a solution!
