Lockdown-Update #8

The Miniatur Wunderland is still closed, in our regular lockdown updates we show how we still use this time for projects - what is being worked on in the workshops and what is being changed on the exhibition.

Many Wunderlandians are currently at home in their home office, but there is still a lot of news to report. A new fire station was installed in Knuffingen, where we have integrated detailed lighting and functioning roller doors.

In future, trains will connect to the new Speicherstadt building via a bridge. This bridge has a slight incline of 3%, which we have already simulated on a test track. Will the trains manage to overcome the route?

One highlight of the new exhibition will be the Carnival of Rio de Janeiro. In the video, Arne shows the construction of a moving bird for the carnival parade.
