Harbour birthday in Miniatur Wunderland
When the Hanseatic City celebrates, things get spectacular on our Baltic Sea as well.
From May 8 to 10, 2026, things will be in full swing here at Miniatur Wunderland. While the big ships are on display outside in the Port of Hamburg, we’ll be bringing the maritime action to life on a scale model of our own “Nordostsee.” Discover an impressive fleet ranging from tiny 4-centimeter boats to majestic 50-centimeter-long freighters.
The absolute highlight is our famous tugboat ballet. But that’s just part of the program: Experience up close how radio-controlled crane ships place navigation buoys, erect lighthouses, and even carry out shipwreck salvage operations. In addition, our agile tugs demonstrate their skills as they safely maneuver the “big ships” and the floating dock through the large water basin.
Friday, May 8: 8:00 AM – 12:00 AM
Saturday, May 9: 7:30 AM – 12:00 AM
Sunday, May 10: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Impressions from the past year
Wunderland’s Scandinavian countries share the extensive harbor facilities. At this dock, general cargo and containers are handled.
Upon completion, the ship control mechanism doubtless will be one of the Seven Wonders of the Wunderland World.
A ferry from the superfast fleet has landed in the harbor of Bergvik.
On its way to Bergvik the passenger train passes several bridges. This is one of the most beautifully landscaped tours in Wunderland Scandinavia.
