Miniatur Wunderland closed at least until December 20th, 2020

Due to official orders we unfortunately have to close at least until December 20th, 2020. We hope to reopen in December, so tickets for visits from December 21st, 2020 onwards can still be booked.

All information regarding tickets you have already booked can be found in our Covid-19-FAQs.

Dear guests,

we hope, that we can re-open the Wunderland on December 21st, 2020. Tickets are on sale and you can book without any risk. They are fully rebookable or refundable before your date of visit!

Of course we have drastically reduced the number of our visitors to ensure that everyone is able to keep distance from each other. You can read here how a visit to Miniatur Wunderland will look like during Covid-19.

Due to our limited capacity (thanks to Covid-19), we can unfortunately only let in about 25% of other visitors. Therefore we strongly recommend you to book a ticket in advance. At the moment there is a high demand for these tickets. You can come by spontaneously at any time, but on weekends (Friday-Sunday) and public holidays, as well as during the Christmas holidays, you may have to expect long waiting times. Please inform yourself in advance about the expected waiting times.

All pre-booked tickets remain valid as normal. If you have booked tickets for the period between 03/16 and 05/19 as well as between 11/02 and December 20th, 2020 your tickets do not expire. Unfortunately, our special events Culinary Trip around the World and Wunderland at Night must be cancelled until further notice. You will find all information in our Covid-19 FAQs.

Our Worlds

Ever since the year 2000 the Miniatur Wunderland has been steadily growing. Most currently our 9. world Fun Fairwas opened on June 30th, 2020. Further theme worlds have been planned until 2028. From the very beginning we have kept our construction sites and our workshops open for our visitors. We wanted to make sure that you would always have the chance to watch our model builders and technicians while they were working and see how the landscapes were coming along. Here you will find pictures and information about the already built worlds.

Current Offers for You

Whether with the family, with a good friend or as a group: If you have a further journey to Hamburg, you will find in our travel offers the all-round package including travel and accommodation at fair prices.

Find out what drives the Wunderland

The Miniatur Wunderland is without doubt a 'wonder' not only because of its landscape and surface area, but also due to the technology used to under-pin the exhibit. Gerrit Braun and the model-making team have pushed the limits of model construction, with a large part of the exhibit custom-designed and built.

Special Events

If you would like to visit the Wunderland without big crowds and in a relaxing atmosphere, we would like to recommend our four special evening events to you. Each unique and special in it’s own way. We are sure that there is the right highlight for everyone.
