A heart for children

Children big and small are very welcome in the Miniatur Wunderland! In order to make their visit even more exciting, we have created a few surprises.

As children are often less patient than adults and we don’t want them to loose their pleasant anticipation in the waiting line, we offer them ice cream or sweets for free every once in a while.

At the cash desk the next surprise is waiting: all children smaller than 1 meter (3ft 3 inches) who are accompanied by their parents don’t have to pay an entrance fee!

On the exhibit itself there is a lot to see and to discover, but the kid’s corner of the Wunderland is also worth a glance! Besides a little blackboard, building bricks and a seating area suitable for children the railway must not be forgotten of course! For the little ones there is a wooden railway and the more grown-up can play with an electric one.

Even the smallest ones haven’t been forgotton – there is a baby change station where you'll find diapers and powder for free; and if you want to heat up baby food, don’t hesitate to ask our colleagues in the Bistro. By the way, in the Bistro we have paid special attention to family-friendly prices and several dishes are also available in smaller portions.
