What an awesome display. Can an english subtitle or narrative be added to the videos, as I enjoy them now, but would like to understand the talented people involved. Wish I could see this in person.

The Miniatur Wunderland is really great. Glad I stopped by. Wish I could come visit in person.
I was directed here by a link on The Ace of Spades HQ blog.

Wonderful creation! May I suggest you add Sicily, Italy and include a volcano? It would be really cool to see it smoke and rumble. Maybe you could have glowing red water come out to simulate lava?

Thank you,
Ben Phelps

My father collects Marklin since he's in high school (1959) and I am a big fan of it. When I watched Wunderland DVD at one of my friend's house, I'm really really.. I mean really amazed with this miniature. Wooww!!

This is incredible and a must for any model railroader. Indeed a dream come true. I spent almost 7 hours on my visit on May 16, 2009 and was lucky to even get a guided 'behind the scenes" tour in English.
Indeed it was a a dream of a lifetime and I plan to go back again in 2014 when they will have moved across the canal, and added a whole new building as they are running out of space now. Marvelous and Fantastic! a must see for anyone visiting Germany.

Dear Miniatur Wunderland,

My first ever visit to Germany was because of the Miniatur Wunderland. I herd of it in the internet.
I spent 4 hurs there and would love to live in Hamburg, just to follow the progress of such an incredible project, as I am an Model train enthusiast.
Thanks to you all involved in the project, because you made something most people think impossible, posible and I believe all visitors and enthusiasts will be amazed with it forever as I was was!!
Many Thanks
Best wishes
Pedro Duarte

Love your model train layout! As a supporter of rail transportation as well as model railroading it is refreshing to see such a detailed effort with a project the size of your layout. I learned of Miniatur-Wunderland from a train show here in America called, "Tracks Ahead" hosted by Spencer Christian. The layout there in Germany was featured and I loved. Someday it would be nice to visit Germany and see your layout. Keep up the good work.

My son will be visiting Germany this summer. I found your site from a friend's email. I am forwarding it to my son.

What scale is the railroad (gauge) done in?
I saw that it's 1:87, but what about the tracks?
Is it HO, TT, N, or a mixture of gauges?
(I still have my 35+ year old TT trains my family brought from Germany).

I think the forum and the main website could use an FAQ about the exhibit itself.

Comment: We ´re building in 1:87 whitch means H0 gauge but also use H0e for some tracks...

The video was very interesting, but for the first 2 minutes every few seconds it would pause and show that it was connecting to the site. Hard to follow the narrative that way.

I got a post including your video. How wonderful this is. I don't think I will ever be able to see it in person. How can I get the English version? Want to send on to many friends.

I bought my son Marklin trains, when he was little. Is that what your trains are, Marklin? His had the pantagraph overhead. Just magnificent. So accurate, cute. Thank you for bringing us such joy. JC
