I saw your website from the Model Railroader magazine website. Your miniature railroad is nothing short of spectacular. The attention to detail is beyond any words in the English language. I hope to visit your place with my family someday in the future!

Dear staff!
We just came back to Sweden, after a mini-hollyday in Deutchland. A stop at Mini-Wunderland, was something we all were looking forward to very much, and of course especially the children.
Arriving by taxi, we hear that we should have booked tickets in advance- it´s now minimum 2 hrs waitingtime to get in to see the trains! This was a total surprise to us, and because of a tight time-scheduel, we realised that we would miss it. We tried to comfort the youngest boy, telling him that we will buy a train anyhow. Surprise again!!! The shop is part of the exhibitionarea, which means that You can´t visit the shop unless You wait for at least 2 hrs.....
I have today reconsidered the fact that everything in Germany is very efficient and well organized. If there is a next time, I will of course book in advance....
The Danielsson family.

Comment: Hi family Danielsson,

We always hate to hear that peole made the effort to travel all the way to Germany to come to the Wunderland and then were not able to see the exhibit because of the long waiting queue. We are very sorry about that. Of course we are extremely happy to see how many people would like to see the exhibit. But that of course makes it hard to give everyone the chance to get in. Please keep in mind that you have the option to make a reservation next time you plan a trip to the Wunderland:

Tickts

We really hope you get the chance to come back and visit.

Greetings!
Our family has, as part of a relative's estate,
a room - approximately 10feet x 20feet, stacked floor to ceiling - full of model trains and accessories, almost exclusively brand new in their boxes.
They have been selling in one's and two's over the years, but would be a wonderful find for someone in your situation, and we would love to have that room back. If you're interested in making a reasonable offer, I'll be happy to provide more details. I hope we can be of mutual benefit!

Thanks and God bless!

Comment: Hi Davind,

Thank you very much for your kind offer. Currently our own storage rooms are filled with model railway articles. We get many offers like yours so we had to decide that we can currently not buy any more articles from private.

But we do appreciate your offer.
Best regards

The layout is beyond description. I've seen a few large layouts including the one at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, IL, but this far, far, far surpasses it.

I visited your toy store location while on a tour with Vantage on their Riverboat Odessy in Spring of 2008. We were quite rushed and didn't get up to the model train floor so I'm looking forward to a revisit with you in beautiful Hamburg someday in the not too distance future we hope. I'm just another 77 year old kid at heart I guess.Sincerely Tom Dawson

Great building.
Maybe I did not see it yet but I miss the work at the rail.
I don't see puppets beside a rail-line.
Go on and I want to come and see your Miniatur Wunderland.

I visited Wonderland Sept 21, 2009 and purchased the English DVD to show the model railroaders in the Maritime area of Canada a reason to visit Hamburg. Last night at our weekly get together I started to play the DVD no luck it cannot be played on a Canadian DVD player. It will play on my computer but with no sound. IS THERE A SOLUTION TO MY PROBLEM

Comment: Hi Ronald,
We are awefully sorry about the DVD. It doesn´t have an area code. That is the reason why it sometime wouldn´t play on Canadian DVD players. But it should definitely have sound. Please get in contact with us via contact-form so we can figure out what we can do for you.

I received a link to this in an e-mail from a friend. It is simply amazing! As your website says, the attention to detail is extraordinary.

Just seeing this brings back many fond memories of time spent with my Grandfather and his N-scale trains (he has passed away). I've never been to Hamburg, but it is most definitely on our "travel dreams" list now. Thank you so much for building your dream and sharing it with everyone. You are an amazing group of people, and I wish you continued success in this wonderful project, Danka Schoen!

Can't wait to come to Hamburg and visit the Miniatur Wunderland. My 3 year old grandson will be residing in Flottbeck, with his parents of course, and I know they will visit you soon.

Great railroad! The moving cars and trucks really add a new dimension of realism. And REAL moving ships, its simply outstanding!
