All I can say is this is very cool! One of my oldest and dearest friends is into model railroading and has a set-up in his basement that is like a miniature city.

I visited on Friday 11th October 2013. This was my third visit and I never tire of these wonderful layouts. The layout of Switzerland is every boys dream, however old he is. This has to be THE best tourist attraction in Europe. Thank you to everyone involved. Wunderschon!!

Back to visit my hometown HAMBURG - a visit to the MIWULA was a must, and worth the 45 min wait as we did not reserve tickets in advance. It was my 2nd visit but not my last. Always impressed about the idea, the details, work, fun and I loved the new Airport. Until next time, Andrea

I have seen a picture showing your very personal and controversial decision to represent Berlusconi boeing jailed in a female prison. Since the issue of "Berlusconi in politics" is far more complex than a simple "media tycoon chat obliterated millions of stupid human beings" and since the issue remains an italian internal issue, please remove chat scene from tour layout, if you actually built it, than you : people who freely decided to give their votes to that political party given the absolutedly lack of true alternatives but a bunch of very useless "politicians" are far less stupid than mental laziness may lead to think

*** Miniatur Wunderland comment ***

Dear Gian Paolo,

thanks for your guestbook-entry. Our modellbuilders came up with this (in our view) very funny idea. It is not a politcal statement. Miniatur Wunderland has more than 200.000 small figures and we try to tell storys with every little scene. One idea behind Miniatur Wunderland is telling miniature storys with a smiling face. We observe the daily live and try to rebuild this scenes in the layout. It does not matter if the scene is happening in Germany, Italy or somewhere else. We do not want to hurt anyone, we just want to make people smile. And to be honest: we got so much response from people who laughed about it. It should be more. We love Italy.

We have a girl from Hamburg staying with us and told us about the Miniatur-wunderland.

I would love to know how they build some of the stuff.

I visited MiWuLa on Sunday 14-July-2013. It was an absolutely amazing experience and I was thrilled to see the highly detailed and animated exhibits. Paticularly exciting were the Knuffingen airport and Checkpoint Charlie exhibits. Thank you for creating this magical world and hope to revisit when I am in Hamburg next.

More awesome than words! Although I may never be able to go I would buy a ticket and frame it above my model railroad.

I am originally from Hamburg. Your location was my neighborhood where I grew up. Terrific creation in the Speicherstadt. Hope to visit in the future.

I'm a tourist from China. It is my third time in Germany but first time in Hamburg. I visited Miniatur Wunderland this afternoon. I am not a fan of train, but a huge fan of tiny things. I'm impressed by the amazing work you do. Especially the light design, so into details, tiny and real, must be very difficult to do! I really enjoyed everything in the wonderland!

Special thanks to the friendly and helpful staff at ticket office:)

However I have two suggestions. First, the Scandinavia section has a huge watery area, but the ceiling light reflection in the water makes the scene looks not as real as others, this problem appears more obvious when seeing from a photo. Second, I found most things you can buy from gift shop are things you can also find from other places. I am really looking forward to more unique gift shop products that represents your idea and design more.

Thanks for your time! Looking forward to the upcoming theme worlds!
