Wunderland’s Grand Canyon is not as long as the original and didn’t take millions of years to grow, but it still was an enormous challenge for our model builders. Nobody had any experience in forming the characteristic red rocks, so the modellers had to practice many many hours on a test rock, before the construction of the Grand Canyon really could be started.
