Wunderland Update #35: Basin Cleaning & Rainforest Transport

Last November, we cleaned our large Scandinavian basin. Sveno explains how the emergency drainage system was also checked during this process. To do this, all the ships and even the shipyard had to be taken out of the water. In addition to some renovation work, not everything went entirely according to plan, of course...
We also show you how the rainforest was loaded at the Martinez family's home and will hopefully soon be on its way to Hamburg. Frederik explains how the rainforest is transported to the containers and what has not yet worked out with the shipment.
Another important topic is the “Knack den Krebs” (Beat Cancer) event, which took place on our premises. The association, which was founded 50 years ago by parents of children with cancer, celebrated its anniversary with us—a special evening with many guests and, above all, lots of fun for the children.
