Harbour birthday in Miniatur Wunderland

During the harbour birthday in the Hanseatic city, Miniatur Wunderland will also be a hive of activity on our North-East Sea from Friday, 9 May to Sunday, 11 May 2025.

Many small ships, from tiny 4 cm boats to 50 cm long freighters, complement the shipping traffic on the North-East Sea during the harbour birthday. One of the highlights is the famous tugboat ballet. However, this is only a small part of the ‘Miniature Harbour Birthday’. For example, fairway buoys are laid out, lighthouses are erected and wrecks are salvaged - all using radio-controlled crane ships. In addition, of course, there is the tug assistance for the big pots and the floating dock, which are already travelling in the large water basin.

The additional boatmen and women are expected to be on duty at the following times:

Friday: 8.30 am - midnight

Saturday: 7.30 a.m. - 11.00 p.m.

Sunday: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm
