Weekly Report 433, CW 7

From Monday, 09.02.2009 to Sunday, 15.02.2009

Most work still centers around the airport section. Therefore, we also in this week will show some new small and larger models.

As the Knuffingen airport is built after the Hamburg prototype, we need to observe many small details. Here, the lane posts for parking lots are created in various colors.

The model builders not only work on small details but also on larger models. Judith is seen here as she is about to build a hangar where somewhat larger airplanes can be parked in.

Building for airport fire brigade

The airport's fire station is also built up and awaits the first paint job and the windows.

Airport railway station

after many tests and discussions about the airport station's optical appearance, we can now start building it. First, the rainbow paint job will be removed from the walls and replaced by a uniform one. After that, Christian will adjust the platforms so they can be fitted out with lights and actions.

Arbors in detail

We already showed you some arbors in our special report. Here is a supplemental foto showing the details hiding inside the arbors.

Mercedes Benz 300SL

One of our model builders currently builds a Mercedes Benz 300 SL with open gullwing doors so we won't have just new cars with open doors on the layout.
