There's no real life counterpart to the Airbus A320 "Doctors Without Borders". In reality medical staff and supplies are being transported by different providers. Wunderland's aircraft was auctioned as part of an emergency relief auction benefitting Haiti earthquake victims. The bid of 10.000 by Cortal Consors got the fall of the hammer. Symbolically, they consigned the aircraft to "Doctors Without Borders".
The plane is a twin-engine, handpainted hollow model.
