Help for Haiti
Over 48.000 Euro were already donated! We already want to thank you for your astounding engagement, and great participation...Haiti Charity – 48.000 Euro have already been donated
In the past days, we tried to help the people of Haiti with several activities. Right after the devastating earthquake in Haiti we searched in cooperation with „Aktion Deutschland hilft“, for a facility in desperate need of support.
We found a hospital in Port-au-Prince which fit the profile. Thanks to your participation, our employees and many enterprises, we were able to collect a rather stately sum. Momentarily, we collected 48.000 Euro, and we are still running some activities.
All activities at one glance
eBay-auctions
We auctioned off several parts of Miniatur Wunderland to benefit the earthquake victims. Here the results:
A locomotive Type BR 101
The locomotive was auctioned on January 19th for 2.310 Euro to a Lady (who wants to remain anonymous). It will ride in a “Help-for-Haiti-Design” across the landscapes of Wunderland.
Mountain in the Harz region
The former „Klosterberg“ was auctioned on the 21st of January for 5.605 (the sum was rounded up to 7.250 EUR) to a pool of hundreds of St.Pauli Fans, and will be babtized „Mount Saint Pauli“. The inauguration ceremony will take place in February.
Truck driving in Knuffingen
The moving truck was auctioned on January 22nd for 5.051 Euro to Wolfgang Ahlers, who bid on the Truck as a present to his son for his journeyman’s examination.
An Airbus A320 in the new Airport layout.
The A 320 was auctioned January 24th for 6.260 Eur to Cortal Consors. We want to point out, that Cortal Consors stocked the sum up to 10.000 Eur, and insists on pointing out the situation of the people in Haiti in the design of the aircraft, rather than making advertisement for themselves.
The cargo ship Jenna Catherine
The ship was auctioned on January 26th for 7.802 Euro to the South German building supplies store Profi Winkler (rounded u to 8.000). The final design has not been decided, yet.
We want to thank all the bidders, and will report about future developments.

All admission fees on January 18th were donated: altogether 8.200 EUR.
Many colleagues have donated part of their wages (more than 3.000).
Donation Pin April: 3.000 (Here, you will find more information on the donation pins).
We still have current charity activities. The final fundraising results, acknowledgements, and reports from the hospital will follow, shortly.
