Support the people of Haiti by visiting Wunderland

A terrible earthquake struck Haiti in the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, destroying large parts of the island. The death toll is estimated at 100.000. Large parts of the Capital Port-au-Prince have also been destroyed. According to the ambassador, all life necessities are lacking: “Medical supplies, tents, food, water – Haiti is desperate for everything".
For us, it is a matter of the heart to take part in helping the earthquake victims. Partially, we want to generate our donations with your help, on Monday January 18th 2010. On that day, we will donate the entrance fee of each visitor completely. Hopefully, this will generate a large sum, which will be transferred to the Hospital of Adra in Port-au-Prince. The donations will be reliably forwarded by the organisation „Deutschland hilft e.V.“ (transl.: Germany helps)

If you cannot, or don't want to bid on eBay, or you weren't able to visit us on Monday January 18th, you still have the possibility to help. We already got a lot of feedback for our donation activities. Many of our visitors have asked us whether they could donate together with Miniatur Wunderland to the hospital of Adra in Port-au-Prince. Of course, you can! You can transfer your donation to the following account of  the organization "Aktion Deutschland hilft" with the "subject", "reference" respectively, saying"Miniatur Wunderland hilft Haiti". The subject or reference is very important to transfer the money to that hospital.
