Large Märklin exhibition in the Wunderland

One of the oldest and most popular brands in Germany celebrates it's 150th anniversary in the year 2009. It stands as a historic marker for the history of toys and familiarised many generations with the world of techniques by playing with toys. Today's reputation was mainly earned by the railroads whose miniatures still contribute a good deal to the reputation of Germany's most important traffic carrier.
Using historic artefacts as examples, the Märklin exhibition lines out the history of the company from the early-days girls' toys to nowadays modern railroad miniatures.
The exhibition can be seen in our area for special exhibitions in the second floor of the Miniatur Wunderland.
