German Parliament Election 2009

In the German Parliament election year 2009 we hear many slogans and claims from German Parties. You also can get extensive written information about agenda and the heart and soul of each party. But what would it mean for Germany if political parties could create it without restrictions?

In the past weeks, our team discussed this topic frequently. Our opinions were so diverse, that in the end we were at a complete loss. So in the middle of June, we decided  to donate one square meter land to each party represented in the German Parliament. In a letter to their headquarters, we asked each party to send us a draft of their Utopia. Contrary to our expectations, the reactions were altogether positive, and all parties agreed to participate.

We are planning to create six “Ideal Countries” until beginning of September. We will present this special exhibition from September 14th on, in order to help our visitors in choosing their favourite party. But we think, that the road to each Utopia is just as spellbinding as the result. Therefore, we will present photos and background information on a regular basis on this site:
