Filmfest Hamburg
Miniature-Filmfest opened in the Hamburg sectionMeanwhile, the Filmfest in Hamburg grew to an important institution in the Hanseatic city and is well known beyond the city limits. From September 25 until October 2 this year, various cinemas will feature more than 140 movies of well known and not so well known movie creators from all over the world. For us, this is a splendid occasion to add a small cultural highlight to the Hamburg section of our layout.
Between St. Michaelis church and Hamburg Main Station, a huge silver screen (actually, and LCD-monitor) is set up which shows the Filmfest-Hamburg trailer, the red carpet is laid out, and Limos, VIPs, and journalists together with a crowd of spectators complete the scene.
The Filmfest was officially inaugurated last Tuesday by the organizer Albert Wiederspiel. The open air cinema in the Hamburg section of the Miniatur Wunderland will be active for the complete duration of the Hamburg Filmfest.
In cooperation with the Filmfest Hamburg we will raffle off 5 times two Annie Oakleys (free tickets) for a festival movie of the winner's choice. Please send your eMail to: info (at) miniatur-wunderland.de
