The Wunderland has always been focused on environmental issues. Long before the recent topic of climate change came into the public conciousness, the Wunderland had already set itself upon a course of renewable energy sources.

Since the Wunderland uses approx. 1,000,000 KW/h of electricity per year, it was decided to find a clean and efficient alternative energy source. We have no nuclear power plants, but instead a large win park in which giant, modern windmills are turned by the wind, generating a steady flow of power.

Our models were built in accordance with the specifications of the company Nordex, who is responsible for the creation of the real-life versions of this energy system.
