Nordex Onshore Wind Farm

Der Nordex-Windpark im Hamburg-Abschnitt

Miniatur Wunderland has always focused on environmental issues. Long before the current issue of climate change came into public conciousness, Wunderland set off on a course of renewable energy sources already.

Since Miniatur Wunderland consumes approx. 1,000,000 KW/h of electricity per year, we decided to utilize clean and efficient alternative energy sources. We have no nuclear power plants, but instead, a large onshore wind farm with giant, modern wind turbines which are generating a steady supply of power.

Our models were built true to the specifications of the company Nordex, who is responsible for the creation of the real-life versions of this energy system.

If you want to learn more about the real-life version of this ecofriendly method of energy generation, please visit the website of the Nordex Company.
