Now we travel way up north: A new tanker can be found in the Scandinavian section - and with his gleamy chrome rings an exceptionally beautiful one!
We had to retire this Mercedes G-class. One reason was the size of the motor which couldn't warrant a long life of the model.Moreover, the prototype of the Knuffingen Firefighters ( which are the Hamburg Firefighters) just don't have an MB on their roster :-) ...
... so we had it replaced with this brandnew VW T5 Van..
These bits and pieces will assemble into a Highway Patrol for the American section. Their duty will be to stop speeding cars and trucks, and cash in some money for street maintenance :-)) Seen here are the thin copper wires for the cars' illumination.
