Weekly Report No 305, CW 35
From Monday, 28.08.2006 to Sunday, 03.09.2006In the last report one could see how the basic benchwork for the big mountain was welded over the staging areas.
Now the steel framework for the subroadbeds around the staircase is welded.
The modellers are also not really lazy. Here you can see the first pieces of subroadbed for the ramps. Once they are painted and built up, they can be set into the layout.
Now wiring started. As you can see, we have a lot of fun (even in spite of lots of work). A new sporty discipline is wire lifting! :-)
In the last report one could see the electronic wizzards mounting the modules for track occupancy.
We go on with the topic: "What could this be?" Here we see the back of the item in question! NB: Until now, nobody found the right answer!
This is the first complete narrow gauge train for the new Alps section.
he train was presented to us by the members of the 4th MFM (Miwula Forum Meeting) during a glorious ceremony.
The first test runs were flawless so one can assume that this train will be seen on a regular schedule when the new Alps section will be opened.
We thank all forum members for this present and really look forward to the 5th MFM in the Miniatur Wunderland! :-)
