A very long Easter-week lies behind us during which there was barely time for some minor work. One extraordinary event happened though near the end of this week...
The 3.000.000th visitor and his family

Thursday, April 20, 2006 at 11:08 AM it happened: Peter (42), Selfemployed in home-decor, enters the Wunderland with his spouse and his two kids (10 & 12 years old) on their way back to Kassel and is frantically greeted by the press and the welcome commity as 3.000.000th visitor.


The 3.000.000th visitor in the Miniatur Wunderland

Now the family is the proud owner of a cabin on the norwegian coastline and also has a lifetime free entry to the Wunderland. Congratulations to the county of Hessen!!!


The location for a balcony in Switzerland

In this location a balcony will be installed.


Holes for support beams

The holes and the steel beam are nessessary to hold the static weight.

New aircondition in Switzerland

The camera ( picture of the hour ) had to be relocated a bit in order to make room for the aircondition funnels, which will have to provide fresh air for the second floor.

Unused areas in the old Alps are covered up

Last but not least, a view into the (existing) alps-section: At the very beginning, a technician had his place here...


Alps expansion

...but since we have our command stand, this area is not used at all. Now, this "hole" will be covered up...
