From Monday, 17.04.2006 to Sunday, 23.04.2006
Thursday, April 20, 2006 at 11:08 AM it happened: Peter (42), Selfemployed in home-decor, enters the Wunderland with his spouse and his two kids (10 & 12 years old) on their way back to Kassel and is frantically greeted by the press and the welcome commity as 3.000.000th visitor.
Now the family is the proud owner of a cabin on the norwegian coastline and also has a lifetime free entry to the Wunderland. Congratulations to the county of Hessen!!!
In this location a balcony will be installed.
The holes and the steel beam are nessessary to hold the static weight.
Naked steel last week;
covered up and a lot nicer to look at this week: the center beam.
The camera ( picture of the hour ) had to be relocated a bit in order to make room for the aircondition funnels, which will have to provide fresh air for the second floor.
A new flower market established
at the base of Castle Loewenstein.
Last but not least, a view into the (existing) alps-section: At the very beginning, a technician had his place here...
...but since we have our command stand, this area is not used at all. Now, this "hole" will be covered up...
