Meanwhile, our workshops...
have moved to the 3rd floor and occupy the area
...which later is to be the Mediterranean and southern France.
On the opposite side of the room, tarpaulins are hanging down from the ceiling in the 3rd and 4th floor - they serve as dust protection as work starts right now behind them.
First, the old staircase...
...has to go
...since we don't need it here any longer.
First thing to do in the 4th floor was to install a decent railing to prevent people falling into the hole.
Since the stairs have been removed, the visitor gets a first impression of the mountains to come...
Something like this will be the view from the 4th floor down to the layout in the 3rd floor. Anyway, the hole will grow just a whee bit ;-)
