These are the first steps for a "ghost train" which Gitta currently builds for special duties...

In our last report we asked a question abhout a long structure (picture 2).

Apparently out hint (picture 3) was way too easy! We couldn't believe our eyes as the right reply came in almost instantly...

It is indeed a rope factory ( or as we in the northern part of Germany say : a "Reeperbahn". (Reep = Rope)

Finally we know where the snow on our ski-jump ramp comes from.

After all, there is almost now snow around the ramp...

The ships show first signs of wear and tear. Here, the "Zim Caribe II" is in the "wharf" for a complete overhaul.

BTW, we are currently working on the ship-database which will soon be online...

Our scandinavian friends will be happy: The floating dock will receive a new lettering since the old one turned out to be completely wrong...

Recently, a couple of advertisements showed up on the main station plaza which announce a new event (No, there is no prototype for this event ;-) ).

This sculpture contest replaces the big-band parade

which in the end merely was a

small 3 man jazz combo....

During the re-construction a kiosk was added and the bus stop had to be relocated.

We have to point out, however, that the relocation process is not yet finished as the lantern in the right lane (picture 19) has to be moved, too!
