The Queen Mary II was responsible for this year's daily visitor record: The census of the Hamburg police resulted in 600,000 plus people "squeezing" themselves through the streets of the Speicherstadt and the Harbor City.
Although we anticipated a lot of people and thus opened already at 6:00 AM it was in vain: the waiting line started at 7:00 AM! Our last guest left at 11:30 PM...

+++ Severe Train Crash near Las Vegas - kpa +++
In the morning hours, two trains crashed on the belt line near Las Vegas.
The tracks had to be closed for several minutes. A couple of cars and a loco were heavily damaged but luckily no persons injured this time...+++ sh +++
