Last week, we once again ...
...tested the water basin.
It looks really awesome!
Another reason for filling the basin was Andreas Stirl from Eisenbahn Romantik who made a side trip to Hamburg in order to document the work progress.
Fascinating views through the clear fascia...
...which is mounted to the front of the basin.
High tide - there's no way the water can climb any higher up the beach.
Overflows make sure that the water can't creep any higher than this.

This viaduct spans a river and the street running parallel to the river. The top carries two tracks.
The view from the back shows how one can built those arches.
Streets are built in the Norwegian mountains.
