Weekly Report No 221, CW 3
From Monday, 17.01.2005 to Sunday, 23.01.2005
During the last week an old bomb of WW II was found around the corner in the 'Hafencity'.
The result: The police toiled for nearly an hour to completely seal off the Speicherstadt and after 8 minutes the bomb was harmless. Hamburg's Chief-defuser was on location...
and all visitors of the Miniatur Wunderland were lucky because they were not allowed to leave the building during this hour but had to look at the Wunderland instead...
Now the concrete has the right color... (see last report, pics 3. & 4.)
The mountains in the background of the layout still grow...
but don't worry:
the ceiling is the limit, guaranteed.
Sweden!!!!
Well, at least it's supposed to be - momentarily it is 'quite flat' ...
There's trouble ahead in the town of Altenfelde at the North-Sea shores: Massive protests announce future events....

Of course there is a roundabout for safe traffic in Scandinavia...
The greenery in the Scandinavian section is on its way....

considering the looks of the prototype (well, sometimes)...
Finally, 2 real tough riddles; the quotas are sky high because nobody will guess them! ;-)
