Miniatur Wunderland Weekly Report

Weekly Report No 124, CW 11
From Monday, 10.03.2003 to Sunday, 16.03.2003
This report mainly covers the Special Run cars for which we received incredibly masses of contributions. The work on the layout will be covered next week since the TV-recording not really gave us a chance to make progress... As for the special car: Not all proposals were feasable (a car with the olympic rings was proposed but the licence fees would easily exceed the salary of a top manager and the car would only be useful if Hamburg would be olympic town in 2005). Contributions wich suggested to revive an old original car were dropped since we think that a special should be related to the Wunderland. Another proposal showed a foto from our american part but this, at the earliest, is good for photography in late summer/fall, and thus this contribution was dropped, too. We also received 2 - 3 proposals which just suggested a direction, like "Do a car with pictures of Hamburg". They weren't specified any further and so they simply were of no use. Well, these are the contributions that reached us:
