A train ride-along of a special kind

Making a trip with Swiss Cargo - new version!

We have already shown this train ride-along in our advent calendar 2008. Back then, it was a sweepstakes. The entry deadline is already past, but nonetheless, you can count how many Santa Clauses can be seen on that little trip, for fun.

Important: this version is with high solution online. In case your internet connection can’t process the data volume, please try the old version.

Germans must be the best engineers on Earth! This gives me another reason to visit Germany. What an amazing display... Someone, (or many someone's) has a lot of patience, and a fine eye for detail! Keep up the good work.

My Dad used to tell a story about German Engineering something like this... back about twenty or so years ago the Japanese announced to the world that they were the finest engineers in the world. A Japanese firm had made an electric wire so tiny that it was a fraction of the diameter of a human hair.
The whole world was amazed!! Except for Germany. German engineers requested the Japanese to send them a sample of this amazing wire. The Proud Japanese sent a sample of this wire to the finest industrial firm in Germany.
The German engineers examined this wire with delight. Then, they drilled a hole in it and sent it back to Japan!
