Streetlights LED Overhaul
In the Hamburg, Harz, and Alps sections, all the streetlights must be swapped for LED lights.
In the older sections originally built using light bulbs, over 5,000 streetlights need to be replaced with more efficient LED's.
This project began in the summer of 2006 and is expected to be completed in July 2007. For all buildings, cars, and streetlights it's required thus far over 6,500 work hours,with an expense of over €100,000.
