Special exhibits in Miniatur Wunderland

Since April 2008, we show special exhibits on a regular basis. By now, each year several 100.000 kids and teens vistit Miniatur Wunderland. With our special exhibits a visit in Miniatur Wunderland can also become an educational experience.

The topic of our first exhibit was the legendary American railroad photographer O. Winston Link, who portrayed the last steam engines remaining in the US in the 1950's. In cooperation with the Museum of Labour six motives were chosen and presented in a blackbox.

In cooperation with the Center for Political Education, the special exhibit "A City Divided" arose, and could be seen here between September 2008 until March 2009. 7 diorama depicted the history of the German division and reunion. Thus, History as such could be experienced in a different visual manner. From April until June 2009 the exhibit was also displayed at Channel 2 (ZDF) in Mainz/Germany, before it returned to Wunderland once again, in September 2009. In October it was shown at Hamburg's City Hall.

"A City Divided" is only one of many examples for our interesting special exhibits. You'lll find even more details in this category. You can look forward to further, intriguing events this year.
