Hello Erhard,

Just saw the english web site page Travel Guide / Übersichtspläne.

Could you whisper to Stephan that Seite is page in english, not site - but why not insert the corresponding language - I just did this little exercise for you - here is my suggestion for headlines for the tour guide folders:

Tour guides / Übersichtspläne

(deutsche version)

Click here for your 2 page tour guide to MiniaturWunderland in English (format A 3)

Cliquez ici pour télécharger la guide de MiniaturWunderland en francais (format A 3 - 2 pages)

Pulse aquí para sus guía a MiniaturWunderland en español (format A 3 - 2 paginas)

PS. I can't find the correct French c (c cedille) on my board

You know - I so much want you to turn European also Exclamation

And a Merry Xmas and a happy New Year to you and all Miwulaner

Hallo,

Better would be:
"Cliquez ici pour télécharger le guide de MiniaturWunderland en français (format A 3 - 2 pages)"
Wink
Happy new year to all of you! Santa Smiley 2

Merci a Yann!

Happy New Year Erhard and Yann,

now we have the confirmed version in French for the download of the tour guide - maybe you could find an opportunity to check both the German and the English Übersichtspläne pages and insert the new French and Spanish texts Professor .

It is only a suggestion Laughing

Merry 2008 steam - I shall try and find the first opportunity to visit the new Switzerland on board the ICE to Hamburg.

Hallo Erhard,

Just got the idea to check the international travel sites as Fodor and Lonely Planet.

As far as I can see they do not mention the Miniatur-Wunderland at all, what a pity. They do mention the Speicherstadt - but without any content. Otherwise it is cafes and art museums, and well the harbour.

So, after all, the Miniatur-Wunderland may only be "world famous" in Germany and neighbouring counties.

When you believe the English site is ready for a broader audience, we could write the international travel guides and tell them that railways are as German a passion as beer. And that they are seven years behind on updating their Hamburg coverage Very Happy .

Best regards

Hi Erhard,

Just had another idea, its easier for me to write it immediately than to hide it here.

There are a lot of things about the Wunderland I like, also the very simple entry price system. And especialy the reservations opportunity.

In order to let in more people, however, some day in future you will have to consider some sort of entry price differentiation, I believe. That is if Freddy wants to bypass the Neuschwanstein number of 1,3 million visitors p.a.

The Swiss Pass for the railways in Switzerland is very advantageous and only available to people resident outside Switzerland.

Also, non-German tourists are more probable to be able to plan a visit outside week-end days.

So before a more targeted international re-launch, why not consider some sort of reduced ticket only available to foreigners and only valid Monday-Thursday.
Or it could be a full price normal ticket that on Monday-Thursday could be used for a second day entry, for instance. On my last visit I asked for a reduced second day entry which you did not offer. Or even only for entrance after 3 p.m.

Well, just wanted to pass the thought onto your table.

Best regards

Hi Nordexpress,
Since I'm not on the board of directors nor a CEO of the Wunderland, I'm sure you'll understand that I cannot reply directly to your proposal. However, I'm sure that Freddy and/or Gerrit are monitoring this board and there will be some sort of reaction...

Take care,
Erhard
