Not to dilute the discussion here, but several of us English speakers have started a new Yahoo!Group where the discussion is the FCS (all scales).

A few of us are members of this (the M-W) Forum and we hope to learn something from our 'obviously more advanced' German bretheren, if our school-boy German skills will allow.
